Butter Biscuits

  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • vanilla flavour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 400 g flour

After you melt the butter, mix it with sugar really well, then add the egg and the vanilla extract and mix again. After that, slowly incorporate the flour with baking soda and cinnamon into the mix and let it cool in the fridge for 30 minutes.

When it is cold, take it out and with a spoon, start placing the batter onto cooking paper and bake for 12 minutes at 160 degrees Celsius without ventilation. They are the best, softest butter biscuits ever!

But if you’d like them more crunchy, turn on the ventilation. They will be really soft when you take them out of the oven, but as soon as they cool down, they will harden on the outside and stay crunchy on the inside. If they’re too crunchy, you can store them in a jar with a slice a bread, it softens them perfectly. Bon appetit!
